Anna & Alex's Wedding Day...A Story in Pictures

It was an honour to be part of Anna and Alex’s special day. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was going to be a day to remember. It was clear that this was going to be one of the most beautiful weddings we had ever photographed. We are excited to share the story of their wedding day through the photos we captured. Alex looked so handsome in his custom suit from Per Lui. His smile radiates the room. He’s always happy, always smiling and always joking around. And you can tell why - he is marrying his beautiful bride Anna. Together they make an amazing couple!

The bride was stunning in her custom-made gown, which was made using her mother’s dress. It was a one-of-a-kind dress designed by Whyte Couture for Anna’s dream wedding dress, it was everything she could ever imagined and more.

We were thrilled to capture the magical moment when Anna and Alex said “I do.” They looked so in love. The ceremony was held at St. Rochs Church in North York, with some of their closest friends and family present. Anna’s parents were also married here, so it was so sentimental to make it official at the same church. The church was perfect. The sunlike shone through the stained glass windows creating a beautiful atmosphere. As they exchanged vows under the cathedral ceilings they felt like they were the only two people in the world. With the sound of a piano echoing in the background it seemed like a dream come true. They both looked radiantly happy as they recited their vows to one another. Afterwards as they were leaving the church, family and friends were cheering as they began their journey as husband and wife. Through our lens, we were able to tell the story of their wedding day with these beautiful photographs that will last a lifetime.

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect as everyone gathered around to celebrate this union of two amazing people! It was a mild November day, we couldn’t have asked for better weather. The sky filled with pastel colours as we took some gorgeous, romantic shots of Anna and Alex after they said “I do”. The leaves were still on the ground, and we were surrounding by beautiful trees and acres of fields. This wedding really showcased the romance, beauty and stillness of the country, and its no wonder Anna and Alex chose this place to have their photographs taken. We are so grateful to have been able to document this special moment for this wonderful couple!

Their first dance was like there was no one else in the room. Time stood still. You can see the love in their eyes, no words needed to be spoke. As they danced together, they were surrounded by all their family and friends who have been with them throughout their journey of life and love. The glow of happiness and joy emanating from them filled everyone’s hearts with warmth and pure bliss. Even after the music ended, they stayed embracing each other in a hug for what seemed like forever. That image will stay with us and we are honoured to have captured it! This moment encapsulates exactly why we adore photographing weddings, you never know what beautiful moments will arise out of them. We had such an amazing time capturing all of the special moments, and can’t wait for them to relive their story every time they look at their photos.
